2. Should the CAA review the CPL requirement for Max Rate Turning?
If so how ?

3. What is a Maximum Rate Turn?
Rate of turn is given by speed over radius (V/r).
To achieve a maximum rate of turn:
the wing loading must be as low as possible
– pretty much fixed for any given flight;
the air must be as dense as possible
– practically 2000 feet AMSL is reasonable;
the maximum value of the produce of:
 angle of bank;
 speed; and,
 CL (CL Max).

Where, if at all, does the Maximum Rate Level Turn fit in?

7. Is it simply a relatively advanced handling exercise ?
