10. Some people just don’t like following rules and these people are sometimes called rule breakers. Sabrina and her friends wanted to be rule breakers. They hated being told what to do; in fact they would sometimes do the very opposite just to annoy people. Sabrina and her friends found out that school, and indeed our communities, would be a very chaotic place if we didn’t have rules to help guide us.

Rules are made to make our lives easier. Do you have rules to follow at home? Do you follow them? What would life be like if you didn’t follow the rules at home?
Some rules are made to make things fair, such as the rules you must follow when you are playing a game. Imagine how unfair games would be if there were no rules.
Some rules are made to keep us safe. The children at Broomfield were hurt when there were no rules. Safety rules are made to keep us safe but also to keep other people too.
