2. SafeSchools is web-based training for all HCS employees.
Advantages:
Less paper waste.
Better database tracking.
Cost effective.
Auto reminders listing assigned and overdue training.
Training compliance reports.

3. Safety training plans are developed for specific job functions.
Examples:
All employees take a general safety training course.
All elementary school teachers are assigned playground supervision training course.
All lab science teachers are assigned safety data sheet (SDS) training course.
All maintenance and custodial staff are assigned asbestos awareness training.

The SafeSchools platform gives HCS the ability to push out policy updates to all users, which can be tracked.
Offline training tracking can be easily done, e.g., our recent ALICE: Response to an Armed Intruder training has been logged for each participant.
