SX-200 ICP Sales Training2 Mitel Pricing Tool - MPT The Mitel Pricing Tool (MPT) consolidates various tools into a single tool for all products –Designed for all Mitel Channels worldwide Progressive rollout of product configurations within MPT –Beginning with 3300 ICP Release 4.0/4.1 & SX-200 ICP –Existing tools will stay online until product is available within MPT

MPT is a Java/XML-based client application that is downloadable from Mitel OnLine (MOL) –Tool resides locally on user’s PC User-initiated "refresh" via the web –Latest pricing and product information contained in Registration file –Needs to be re-registered periodically — time out interval 28 days

SX-200 ICP Sales Training4 Major Features of MPT Allows for multi-site configurations of platforms/products –Supports multi-location & multi-product configurations –‘Rules-based’ questions guide user through component selection –Off-line quote storage on local PC –On-screen errors and warnings for incorrect configurations Provides Reseller and End-User reports — in HTML, Acrobat and Excel Tool contains additional product information

SX-200 ICP Sales Training6 MPT MPT Registration Installation of the Mitel Pricing Tool MPT can either be installed directly from MOL or downloaded onto a local drive –Method depends on speed of Internet connection –One-time install Two new icons will appear on the desktop once installed –Before using — MPT must be registered

SX-200 ICP Sales Training7 Registration of MPT MPT must be registered in order to load product information and pricing Must be re-registered on a regular basis in order to capture up-to-date product and pricing information –Re-registration interval is 28 days –Once interval period has lapsed the tool will stop working until re-registered –Registration file can be obtained from MOL or sent via email

SX-200 ICP Sales Training8 Setting Up Tool - Registration There are 2 ways to register –Via the Web or –From a File Register MPT –Go to Start - Programs - MPT - Register –Select File from Menu bar - Choose Register from Web or Register from File –Enter Mitel OnLine username and password –Registration is complete

SX-200 ICP Sales Training9 Building a Quote Two ways to launch tool –Windows Start - Programs - MPT –MPT Icon Prompt for MOL username and password About MPT screen is presented to user, contains: –Version information –Re-registration date –List of products supported –Product update information

SX-200 ICP Sales Training10 Building a Quote To create a new quote select File from Menu bar and select — New To open a previously created quote select — Open

SX-200 ICP Sales Training11 Building a Quote A ‘Channel’ and ‘Platform’ must be chosen before proceeding with the new quote creation Some users may be presented with multiple channels in the Select a Channel drop down menu –Select the channel for which the quote is being created

SX-200 ICP Sales Training12 Building a Quote - SX-200 ICP Packages The first selection that must be made when building a quote for a SX-200 ICP is what base package is required –Selects the SX-200 ICP controller for quote Additional platforms can be added to the overall quote

SX-200 ICP Sales Training13 Building a Quote - SX-200 ICP Packages There are three main package types –Business Package –Hospitality Package* –Premier Package Each packages contains different quantities of sets, licenses and options * Coming Soon

SX-200 ICP Sales Training14 Mitel Pricing Tool - Pricing Once quote has been created, pricing information can be accessed via the Pricing tab on the Menu bar Three pricing sections –End User Discount –End User Pricing –Solution Provider’s Margin

SX-200 ICP Sales Training15 Mitel Pricing Tool - Reports The Reports tab on the Menu bar presents 3 types of reports –Product Pricebook –End User –Solution Provider Some reports can not be generated until ‘Red’ Error messages have been corrected

SX-200 ICP Sales Training16 Mitel Pricing Tool - Reports End User Reports –Parts Reports — a report listing all part numbers & descriptions, unit prices and quantities –Quote Summary Reports — similar to Parts Report, but less detailed –Bundles certain products into a single line Solution Provider Reports –Distributor Sales Order Reports — a complete list of all part numbers & descriptions unit prices and quantities –Mitel Sales Order Reports — similar to above but includes SAP numbers
