THIS QUARTER IN REVIEW Call volume for this quarter was 62,937, a 13 % decrease compared to this time last year. An additional 20,846 web sessions were conducted to search for resources via the online database. Year-to-date call volume is 126,807; the number of web sessions to date is 42,732. Top requested services were Gas Service Assistance, Food Pantries, and Rent Payment Assistance, with an overwhelming need for Gas Service Assistance. Gas Service Assistance, Water Bill Payment Assistance, and Assistance with Rental Payment and Deposit were the top unmet needs this quarter. Quarterly Report – nd Quarter 9/16/2018

2-1-1 On The Go! 2-1-1 On the Go! is a mobile outreach program that engages individuals experiencing homelessness in the central business district of Downtown Detroit. Homeless outreach associates connect with those wanting help AND provide quality information & referral to meet immediate needs.  The team provides advocacy & transportation support to help individuals secure stable housing & income. On The Go! develops relationships with those in need & direct service providers to help alleviate homelessness. For the 2ndquarter of 2013, On The Go!: attempted to engage 63 individuals top needs identified: transportation, housing/shelter AND employment over 75% of needs identified were either “met”, “partially met” or “pending” * Since October of 2007, On The Go! has successfully connected 251 individuals to services for housing & shelter, & 208 individuals to resources for income, education & employment.
