Mary Ann Nichols She was born August 26, 1845 in shoelane off fleet street. She was about 5’2 brown eyes her hair was brown but turning gray. She has small delicate features with high cheek bones. She had a small scar on her forehead from a childhood injury. Emily Holland described her as a very clean women who always kept to her self and an alcoholic. She died 1888 in the district of white chapel church in the county of Middlesex .

Annie Chapman She was born in Sept she is 5’ foot with blue eyes and dark brown wavy hair. Although she has a drinking problem she is not described as an alcoholic. Her friend Amelia Palmer describes her as sober steady going woman who seldom took any drink. She was however known to have a taste for rum. she died Sept. 8, 1888 at the age of 48 years

Elizabeth Stride Elizabeth Stride was born Elisabeth Gustafsdotter on November 27, 1843 on a farm called Stora Tumlehed in Torslanda parrish north of Gothenburg Sweden. she was 45 years old when she died. She was described by Elizabeth Tanner as a very quiet woman who sometimes stayed out late at night and did cleaning for Jews.

Catherine Eddowes Catherine Eddowes is born on April 14, 1842 in Graisley Green, Wolverhampton. At the time of her death Catherine Eddowes is suffering from Bright's Disease a form of Uremia. Friends spoke of Catherine as an intelligent scholarly woman but one who was possessed of a fierce temper. She died Sept. 30, 1888 at the age of 43 years old.

Mary Jane Kelly Mary Jane Kelly was approximately 25 years old at the time of her death which would place her birth around She was 5' 7" tall and stout. She had blonde hair blue eyes and a fair complexion. Said to have been possessed of considerable personal attractions. Maria Harvey a friend says that she was much superior to that of most persons in her position in life. She was buried Monday 19 November, 1888.

Prince Albert Victor Eddy was born in 1864 to Prince Albert Edward and Princess Alexandra. There were unconfirmed rumors that Eddy was mildly retarded. According to Stowell Eddy was suffering from syphilis contracted during a shore party in the West Indies and that this infection drove Eddy insane and compelled him to commit the murders.

Joseph Barnett ( ) Born in 1858 and raised in 4 Hairbrain Court. According to Bruce Paley Joseph Barnett was growing tired of Mary Kelly prostituting for other men. He was in love with Kelly and believed that if he could support her through his own work she would not have to resort to a life on the streets. The loss of his job as a fish porter in June of 1888 brought this dream to an end. Kelly returned to the streets in order to provide for herself and Barnett became mad. In an attempt to scare Kelly off the streets Barnett raged through Whitechapel and murdered a handful of prostitutes in the autumn of 1888.

William Henry Bury He was a suspect because his wife was a prostitute and he was upset. He also had a knife that he slept with under his pillow which was consistent with the victims stab wounds.

David Cohen He was a because he lived in whitechapel and hated women especially in the prostitute class. He also had strong tendencies to kill he was sent to a lunatic asylum about March 1889.

Jill the Ripper Some people thought that the killer mite not of been a man at all some of the questions brought up were 1. What sort of person was it that could move about at night without arousing the suspicions of his own household or of other people that he might have met. 2. Who could walk through the streets in blood stained clothing without arousing too much comment. 3. Who would have had the elementary knowledge and skill to have committed the mutilations. 4. Who could have been found by the body and yet given a satisfactory alibi for being there.

Alisha & Tabs Theory We think that Joseph Barnett committed all the murders. We think this because his wife broke his heart because she was a prostitute. He was upset because she couldn’t support her because he got fired from his job so she had to go back to prostituting. He tried to scare he off the street by going on a prostitute killing spree.
