Hello Everyone.
For the past year and a half, I’ve been very privileged to work with CARP America to serve the world. And I’d like to share with you a few things I’ve experienced and realized along the way.
I’m half french. Half Japanese but grew up on the tiny tropical island of St.Lucia. And love brought me to Michigan, America.
Having grown up in this kind of diverse culture, from early on, I could see the advantages of different nations/nationalities working together. To share each other’s strengths but also help each other in weaker areas.
So I’ve always wanted to be a bridge between nations. To facilitate communications beyond national boundaries. I’m blessed to be able to do that kind of work thanks to the amazing foundation of our True Parents all over the world. (So I wanted to start with a few words from True Mother.)

2. What should the eldest son do to bring happiness to the parents?”
“True Parents lead a providence that reaches nearly 200 nations around the world. Among all those nations, America stands in the Eldest Son position.

This was at the 40th anniversary of the Yankee Stadium Rally.
Anyone remember what she said last year? It’s actually very simple.

3. “It is to embrace all the brothers and sisters around the world, so that the entire family can live in happiness together.”
Embracing the world. That’s it.
These words really stuck out to me, especially when I realized how much TP have loved and invested in America (40 years, for TF, that’s almost half his life) And now, it’s really time for us to share that love with the world.
We can embrace all the countries of the world. If there is any country that is most suited and prepared to do that, I believe it is America

4. Global Top Gun Youth
And True Mother has been the first one to show us what it means to embrace everyone. She called for top gun workshops to create the space for us to get to know each other. Because that is the first step in working together and bringing unity.
And last year she called on youth from all over the world to come to CP for a global workshop.
And America was asked to create the education curriculum for all the participants who came over 60 countries around the world.
At that time, I realized how much True Mother trusts America and sees America’s role in bringing together all the nations of the world and educating people of the world.
Through these workshops, I think True Mother wants to see us come together and use the global network of our movement to work together. Because together we can achieve more. It is also the best place to connect to True Mother and feel her love tangibly whether its through the burgers or ice-cream or her words of encouragement.
So I am grateful to True Mother for creating that space for connection.

2. Reports from 23 countries were posted on the CARP website
So far, I’ve been able to connect with youth representatives in 82 countries and get them to share their amazing stories on the CARP website.
Whether we realize it or not, the world really looks up to America for guidance and support. They see the FamilyFed website and they think it’s so cool. So America is like the ‘cool older brother.’

6. Sharing programs
Last year, I visited CARP Vienna in Austria to introduce one of our programs- STEP UP and they were very interested so we did a training webinar online to train them to run the program themselves.
Since then, they have been organizing these sessions bi-weekly and it has been an effective outreach tool for them.
I know Damien is also doing his ‘we can do it’ workshops in different countries.
The point is that whatever program we create in America, it can be expanded and spread throughout the world. We have the resources to do that. Countries are eager to learn from us and work together.

7. The Japan trip. What’s great is that this started as a local project started by Naoko san, then it became a national project and eventually an international project.
Naoko san had the inspiration to take students to Japan to experience the heart and dedication of the Japanese members but also to encourage and inspire them.

So we had students from all three providential nations gather. Quite historic.
True Mother is waiting for us to take initiative on various projects. We have the freedom to be creative and.

9. Acknowledgement ceremony
And one of the highlights was an acknowledgement ceremony where students from each nation acknowledged the good points of the other nations. So for eg. America acknowledged Japan for their amazing heart of attendance and service and showing the mother’s heart. Japan acknowledged America. They said, “We had misconceptions that Americans are a bit shallow and not so serious but we could see that they have very deep hearts and love TP very much. And they know how to have fun!” So many people were moved and stereotypes could be broken and the good points from each nation could shine.
And for me, that was inspiring because I believe that is how we can create the ideal world, by merging together all the strong points from each country.

10. And guess what. It’s happening this year again. Bigger and better
And guess what? It’s happening this year again. Bigger and better. 120 people. I’ve been working and supporting Naoko san with this project, she is even more determined than last year. You can also be a part of this! You can also help sponsor students to go by making donations through the Family Fed website. Many of us have been touched in some way by our Mother country of Japan. They have gone through difficult times and this is a great opportunity to give back to them by sending our young people there.

America can also be a great host. Give life-changing experiences to others. Become inspired, gain tools and insights then go back to their country and multiply and spread that.

12. Sharing America’s foundation with the world
America has so much foundation because TP invested 40 years of their life here. Many businesses and holy grounds. So it was great to be able to share them with the world. And we hope to host many more people to come see their substantial foundations.

I’m so proud to be able to represent America all over the world. I want to help share our blessings with the world.
I truly believe that America can be that cool older brother that can embrace everyone around the world and bring a smile on True Mother’s face.
