What is the current advice given out? E.g. not to smoke at all, to only take antibiotics when absolutely necessary, to lay a baby on its back. What was the advice given out 10-15 years ago? E.g. smoking was acceptable, antibiotics were given out freely, to place a baby on its tummy to sleep.

Ideas have changed over time because of: Advances in technology Medical research has found out new things e.g. smoking causes cancer Surveys have been carried out New laws have come into place e.g. smoking ban, 18+ to buy cigarettes as from 1.10.07!

Graphs Statistics Tables of results If you include figures from before it will show how the new advice given has had an effect on the latest figures. You should see a drop in cases of cot death etc
