What should your office be doing to keep pace with your leading competition? Where can automation be used? Where does the content come from? Ya, but what about compliance? What places should you use marketing? Marketing fundamentals

4 Terms/Definitions Drip marketing: continuous marketing campaign that keeps you top of mind and presents calls to action to clients over time Landing page: a page used in a marketing campaign for the person to sign up to your newsletter/mailing list Marketing campaigns: normally using a service to get a message out to a bunch of people/subscribers Inbound Marketing - a different approach from the standard, where you are providing expert content/ useful information to position yourself as an expert in your field instead of just selling a product

What should you be doing? Have a website. You will be researched by prospective clients, they will want to see a website Have company content setup on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter for a social presence and pay for Global Relay Start posting relevant content 3 times a week on social media, and once a week maximum on the mailing list platform of your choice Don’t be scared to re-use the same content or link to the same content using different techniques

Social media: Buffer can be used to schedule posting at the prime times for your users, based on their viewing habits and when they’re logged on. Mail Chimp can be setup in advance to mail people on a schedule as well Automatically send birthday and anniversary s Add new clients to a welcome campaign Content: 3rd party marketing handlers can be used: Marketing Pro, Real Wealth Media, FMG suite (can even control website content)

15 Where should you use the marketing content?
Update the content on your website and drive people to that with links on the social media and mailing lists Update your social media content. From there, give them a way they can sign up to your mailing list if they haven’t already Always have a signup link in everything: signature, newsletter, social media posts, blog entries

18 Marketing Tips Timely ideas go farther and get more clicks, shows that you’re paying attention If you automate all of it, take time to read the articles you put out there Always have a call to action section (“call me for more info”, “take advantage today”) Referrals are your friend! Have a referral link and information. Do you have a referral program?

19 Marketing Tips Be sure to follow FHC for content and marketing ideas that you can send to your clients as well! Don’t be afraid to use your content a couple times and link to it from your social media and drip marketing Start simple, stay consistent and don’t forget to follow up!
