3 1. CLLD Essentials £6.6m grant programme (includes match)
To transform economic prospects of people in 20% most disadvantaged areas of Hull based on 2010 IMD Funded through the European Union Combines ESF & ERDF structural funds Hull City Council is the accountable body HLC is the Programme Management Organisation Local Action Group (steering committee)

10 ESF Outputs Total Hull CLLD participants = 2,510 of which:
unemployed / long-term unemployed = 1,750 (70%) economically inactive = 760 (30%) disabilities = 572 (23%) aged 50+ = 435 (17%) BAME = 295 (12%)

11 ESF Results Participants on leaving:
Into education, or training = 830 (33%) Into a job (including self-employment) = 590 (23.5%) Inactive participants (n=760) into job search = 220 (29%) To increase digital skills and take up of on-line opportunities for 1,000 people

12 ERDF Outputs Number of enterprises receiving support = 100
No. new enterprises supported = 60 Employment increase in supported enterprises = 70 No. potential entrepreneurs supported = 250 Square metres commercial built / renovated in hubs = 250

19 3. Grant Application Process
Complete and submit an EOI (23rd Feb) – N.B. EOI is not scored! Partnership-building event (26th Feb - 1pm to 3pm) Attend ½ day pre-application training (5th March to 16th March) Submit full bid (small grants and large awards) – Opens 19th March Deadline for submitting bids – 27th April 2018 Strategic Fit assessment by HLC (sifting) – Early-May Awards Panel – Mid-May LAG decision – End-May or early-June
