2. Mini Car Manufacturing Project
Expectations:
Each student is to have a Design Notebook for Engineering and Technology
The Individual Design notebooks will be a major grade
Each student is to take notes when instructions are given
Notebooks will be graded and notes will count
Each student will join a group
Groups will have no more than four students per group
Work turned in after Gantt Chart due dates will be counted late and points will be deducted
Students will be expected to read information from the website and will be held responsible for all directions given through that medium

9. It will be each student’s responsibility to keep up with due dates and work due.
10. If a student is having a problem with a group, submit a written grievance through Edmodo to the instructor. Failure to do so will result in the student being penalized for the group’s performance.
11. Groups are expected to work together.

Design and Document the process a mini car using Inventor, a student created website and a 3 Ring Binder
Work in Groups
Print a 3D prototype of two car designs and race them on an eight foot track.

Familiarize yourself with rubric and Gantt chart
Divide jobs up so that work is completed on time
Assign one person to be in charge of seeing all is completed
Don’t waste time: Anticipate that someone will be absent, have a backup plan. In the real world the fact that someone didn’t show up for work does not relieve the company of making deadlines.
Work together, help each other out.
Stay focused. There is no time built into the schedule for anyone to be off task.
