6. Being Involved National Service Programs
Corporation for National and Community Service
Provides money, training, and other help for volunteer groups
AmeriCorps - meet community needs, helps victims of natural disasters, cleans polluted rivers, and assists disabled people
Senior Corps – volunteer opportunities for Americans 55 and older
Peace Corps – advises farmers, teaches children, starts small businesses, and fights serious diseases worldwide
