DIVISION OF SOCIAL SCIENCES FALL 2016 WEEK 9 APPLICATION FOR GRADUATION AVAILABLE NOW! SOCIAL SCIENCE FACULTY DINNER! You’re invited to the first social science faculty dinner! The social science leadership team is hosting a monthly faculty dinner in the Hawk dining hall. Each dinner will feature 2 faculty, giving you a chance to connect with them outside of the classroom. November’s faculty dinner will be held on Wednesday, November 30th from 5:30-6:30pm, and will feature Professor Bret Anderson (Econ) and Professor Shanell Sanchez (CCJ). We’ll meet in the Taylor Hall Lobby at 5:20pm and walk over together. This meal is free Planning to graduate in June? Apply for graduation now! Application can be found here: There is an application fee of $75 applied to your student account during the process. Additionally, you’ll need to provide your current course registration as well as a list of courses you plan to complete spring term. If you need support with this please see your faculty advisor or Lea Griess, the student success advisor in TA 121. for the first 8 students. Spots will be reserved on a first come first serve basis. Please Aubrie Carroll-Schneider, student leader, at to reserve your spot. Additional students are welcome to participate if they have a meal plan or are willing to pay for their meal. See you there! DATES, DEADLINES & EVENTS MON, 11/21 11/24 & 11/25 MON, 11/28 Transgender Day of Remembrance. Come to the SU Diversions at 6pm (doors open at 5:30pm) to honor and remember trans voices and trans lives. Vigil at 6pm in the SU courtyard. Last day for course or university withdrawal. If you are considering withdrawing from any or all of your courses, please consult with Academic Advising or Lea Griess in TA 121, to make sure everything is in order to do so. Campus Closed! Enjoy your holiday, but also acknowledge history of Thanksgiving. Be thankful, but remember the indigenous peoples who suffered during the creation of the US. ECON TUTORING!
