Science, Technology, Engineering & Math
Endorsement A student may earn a STEM endorsement by completing the foundation and general endorsement requirements including Algebra II, Chemistry, and Physics and: A coherent sequence of courses for four or more credits in CTE that consists of at least two courses in the same career cluster including at least one advanced CTE course which includes any course that is the third or higher course in a sequence. The final course in the sequence must be selected from the STEM cluster. Includes Courses Directly Related to: STEM Career Cluster Or Science or Advanced Math (above Algebra II)

A student may earn a business and industry endorsement by completing foundation and general endorsement requirements and: A coherent sequence of courses for four or more credits in CTE that consists of at least two courses in the same career cluster including at least one advanced CTE course which includes any course that is the third or higher course in a sequence. The final course in the sequence must be selected from one of the career clusters that fall under Business and Industry. Includes Courses Directly Related to: Business & Industry CTE Career Clusters or Debate or Newspaper or Yearbook

A student may earn a multidisciplinary endorsement by completing foundation program requirements, four credits of math, four credits of science, and two additional elective credits. There are no CTE Programs of Study included in the Multidisciplinary Endorsement. Includes Courses Directly Related to: Social Studies or Languages Other Than English (LOTE) Fine Arts – Art, Dance, Music, & Theatre

Distinguished Level of Achievement
Distinguished level of achievement is for college bound students. Must reach distinguished to be eligible for the class top 10% ranking. Must include: Foundation High School Plan A selected endorsement 4 credits in Science 4 credits in Math (with Algebra II)

Performance Acknowledgements
In order to receive a performance acknowledge on your high school diploma, students must do one or more of the following: PSAT – score commended scholar or higher ACT-PLAN – achieve “college readiness” in 2 or more subjects SAT – score combined verbal and math ACT – score 28+ combined verbal and math (excludes writing) Complete 12 hours of dual credit courses with a 3.0 or higher GPA Score a 4+ on an AP Exam Earn a nationally recognized business/industry certification or license.

Graduation Planning Endorsements, distinguished level and performance acknowledges to be on student’s transcript and diploma. Students can move to a foundation only plan after their sophomore year with: Parent advisement Parent signed permission Principal (or designee) permission
