2. Division Eligibility Eligibility for DIVISION I and DIVISION II
Colleges and Universities
No Eligibility requirements
for Division III or smaller schools,
or for Community Colleges.

3. Division I Requirements
Graduate from high school
Complete 16 course standard,
4 years of English
3 years of mathematics (algebra I or higher)
2 years of natural/physical science
1 year additional of above course areas
2 years social science
4 years of additional core courses (any category above or
foreign language)
Have a qualifying core-course GPA and SAT/ACT Index
2.0 GPA/1010 SAT(86 ACT) – 3.55 & above GPA/400 SAT (37 ACT)
(Writing components from SAT/ACT are not used to calculate score requirements.)

4. DIVISION II Changes Starting with Fall 2013
Graduate from high school
Have a GPA of 2.0 in 16 core courses
3 years of English
2 years of mathematics (algebra I or higher)
2 years of natural/physical science
3 years additional from above course areas
2 years of social science
4 years of additional courses (any category above or foreign
language)
Have a combined verbal-math SAT of 820, or a 68 sum score on the ACT
