Now we see dimly, as in a mirror, but then face to face
Now we see dimly, as in a mirror, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I will know fully, as I am fully known. 1 Corinthians 13:12

When a Christian dies their spirit goes to heaven.
At some point in the future, God will give all the God-followers (Old Testament) and Christians “heavenly bodies.”
4
When a Christian dies their spirit goes to heaven.
Luke 23:43 John 5:24 2 Corinthians 5:6-8
5
When a Christian dies their spirit goes to heaven.
At the rapture, God will give all the “saints” heavenly bodies.

13 We do not want you to be uninformed concerning those who have died (“fallen asleep”), so that you will not grieve like the rest, who have no hope. 14 Since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, in the same way God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep through Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17
7
15 For we say this to you by a revelation from the Lord: We who are still alive at the Lord’s coming will certainly have no advantage over those who have fallen asleep. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17
8
16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the archangel’s voice, and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are still alive will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the ear and so we will always be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17
9
There are heavenly bodies and earthly bodies, but the splendor of the heavenly bodies is different from that of the earthly ones. 1 Corinthians 15:40
10
I tell you this: Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God and corruption cannot inherit incorruption. 1 Corinthians 15:50
11
51 Listen! I am telling you a mystery: We will not all fall asleep, but we will all be changed, 52 in a moment, in the blink of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible and we will be changed. 1 Corinthians 15:51-53
12
53 For this corruptible must be clothed with incorruptibility, and this mortal must be clothed with immortality. 1 Corinthians 15:51-53

What will our heavenly bodies look like?

What now? Make sure you are ready to die (or ready for the rapture). Make every day you have left count. Smile.
