Groups of 3:
Person A → Interviewer
Person B → Interviewee
Person C → Evaluator

10. Introductions! Always walk confidently towards the interviewer
Extend your hand and introduce yourself
Repeat their name if possible!
Stop shaking hands when you are done with the introduction and have a seat
3. “Hi, my name is Doug White. Nice to meet you!” If they say their name first.. “Hi, Mr. Smith! I’m Doug White. It’s nice to meet you!”
4. Strong handshake: Right hand, firm but not too tight, not a dead fish, don’t shake too fast, and don’t hold on to their hands too long.
***When they are done reading and you have gone through this slide - ask for a volunteer who thinks they can demonstrate a great introduction. Have the student stand on one side of the room and you the other. Walk towards each other and introduce. Discuss afterwards the positives and negatives. Repeat with other students until you feel that they have a good idea of what they should do.***
