Okay, okay Ms. K., I get the whole sketchbook thing…. but how are we going to use them in class??

Studio Sketchbooks Your created sketchbook will be a work-in-progress over the course of the next year. (And you still may have tons of pages left to create after the end of the year!) We will be using these as warm-ups to jump-start our creative flow Your warm-up every day will have two parts – 1. The actual warm-up (writing, free sketch, etc.) 2. Creating the background for your next page (for next class)

Studio Sketchbooks Gluing Pages Together -
If you decide to paint some pages in your sketchbook, you might want to glue some pages together to create a heavier, more stronger page. You will use a wide paint brush (be sure to clean well once complete) and some regular white glue. Make sure you pay extra attention to the page corners, as these are the first places pages will come apart.
10
Studio Sketchbooks Ripping Pages Out -
You can rip pages out if you find that when you paint on your pages, glue pages together, or collage paper clippings, it may make your sketchbook much thicker and compromise the binding.
