2. Layout Editor overview
Used to modify the layout of fields: properties, attributes, and related objects
Edit and View layouts tailored independently
Tailored layouts are stored in the eB database
Applies to eB Web and eB Engineering Designer (edit layouts), but not eB Director
Modify the following:
Presence, absence, and grouping of fields
Labels for attributes and columns for relationships
Mandatory or optional attributes

3. Sections in eB Web and Layout Editor
In eB Web, sections split up fields into different groups
Layout Editor defines those sections
Sections for Viewing
Sections for Editing
Documents > View > Sections - Details

4. Defining content for sections
Select the object, class, and View or Edit area
Checkboxes for properties and attributes to be visible in that section

5. Defining sections
Enter information for new Section

6. Adjusting individual properties
Change label
Change hint
Make mandatory

7. Adjusting relationship display
Label and hint for column header
Hide column

8. Adjusting overall layout

9. Importing and exporting layouts
