Who are we?
The Geospatial Technology Center of Excellence (GeoTech Center) is funded by the National Science Foundation through the Advanced Technical Education (ATE) program
We were originally funded in 2008 and located in Texas, now located at Jefferson Community and Technical College in Louisville, KY
We are team of two and four year college educators located across the country
We are the only National Center from NSF devoted entirely to two-year college education

We research the educational technological competencies needs in geospatial technician education.
Meta-DACUM (Developing a Curriculum)
Creation of the Department of Labor Geospatial Technology Competency Model (GTCM)
Creation of Course Competency Tool
