Figure 1 miR-134 Associates with Various Genes Mediating Cancer Cell Proliferation Upregulated-miR-134 inhibits the expression of cyclin D1/cyclin D2/CDK4, KRAS, EGFR, POGLUT1, and STAT5B repressing cell proliferation, while it inhibits the expression of pERK and WWOX but with increasing proliferation. miR-134 increases the expression of p21, resulting in repressing cell proliferation. Blue arrows, suppression; red arrows, indicate promotion. Molecular Therapy - Nucleic Acids 2017 6, DOI: ( /j.omtn ) Copyright © 2016 The Authors Terms and Conditions

Figure 2 miR-134 Functions in Cancer Invasion and Metastasis
KRAS, Nanog mRNA, HNF4α, EGFR, ITGB1, and FOXM1 are all target genes of miR-134, and miR-134 inhibits their functions, which results in repressing cell invasion and metastasis. Molecular Therapy - Nucleic Acids 2017 6, DOI: ( /j.omtn ) Copyright © 2016 The Authors Terms and Conditions
