Governors are in place to question, check and validate the way that school makes and delivers it’s policies
They assess the school’s results and performance and work with Senior Leaders to support the progress of the school
Governors are from a range of business and work backgrounds and bring new ideas to support our school

What is the role of the Senior Leadership Team?
Senior Leaders make decisions on how to run the school
They work to develop new strategies and practices which will improve your experience in all areas of your school life
They work with all the staff in college to make changes which will benefit you both socially and academically

Teachers can be a supporting person for you if you need someone to speak to
Teachers can be a link between pupils and home, pupils and the pastoral team, and pupils and other teaching staff – if you need help, any teacher is willing to help if you feel most comfortable speaking with them
Teachers are there to stretch and challenge you to meet your personal best

To support you in starting the day in a positive manner

All support staff aim to ensure you are safe and well around college
All staff are there to help; if you need assistance, no matter what their role, any support staff member can point you in the right direction
Facilities staff ensure the environment around you is kept in a state which supports your learning
