A Small House Concept The first “small House” was started by Ellen Parker in the late 1920’s Summer Farm Home & 91 acres were donated to Presbyterian Home of Central Pa which launched into the company now know as PSL (Pres. Sr. Living) Outside of the small town of Newville, PA 9 ladies moved into home, cook and care for one another like family.

PA re-introduced Assisted Living Regulations. Presbyterian Senior Living Mission Statement Guided by the life and teachings of Jesus, the mission of Presbyterian Senior Living is to provide compassionate, vibrant and supportive communities and services to promote wholeness of body, mind and spirit. The Quincy Village Parker House was developed! These small houses would create less life disruptions, residents are better to age in place and if Needed higher levels of care are available with out the need to “another “ move.

16 Personalized Suites per House Private Bathroom Personal Kitchenette Secure Outdoor Courtyard Each House was developed with uniqueness in mind. Each home features rich, vibrant colors palettes within the furnishes, finishes and accessories. These elements serve as an invitation for residents and families to gather in a comfortable setting that feels like home. The 3 residential styled homes features 16 private suites similar to a studio apartment. Private Kitchenette and bathroom with a flush mount tile stone shower Beautiful Secure Outdoor patio

The large spacious “family “ area in the center of each home- it really where all the action take place. The large open concept kitchen invites residents to participate in meal preparation, encouraging a sense of independence. Family style dining room tables allows residents guests and our Care partners to join in for the family style meal. Beautiful 2 story stone fireplace Large windows looking out to the Courtyard.

Innovative Concept Again Assisted Living Resident s have less daily life interruptions due to the need to transfer from one location to another for health services. The shorter walking distances between the private suites, spa, laundry areas, and family “living room” helps to eliminate the need for wheel chairs, often caused by the long hallways and stairs in most current Assisted Living, PC centers.
