11. Before you read, it’s important to look for clues that will help you make a prediction about what you’re going to read or what will happen in a story. You can refer to your Predicting Checklist to help you remember the predicting steps. Your Predicting Strategy Card gives you examples of narrative and expository clues to look for that will help you make predictions.
