CEFE Controls Update Joey Wang 2017/04/21 Cummins Confidential
Leading Change Today to Realize the Vision of the Future Vision for the Future, Focus for Today In our November technical leaders meeting we reflected back on our journey as a technical organization under John’s leadership and started to talk about the vision for our future. That vision continued to evolve and during the first few months of the year I rolled out communication more broadly to the technical organization about that vision through Cummins Connect stories, my newly launched blog, and town hall meetings in Beijing, Wuhan, Pune, Columbus, Fridley, and a video that is available on Cummins Connect. As we come together this week we are at the early stages of refocusing on what it takes for our technical organization to innovate, differentiate, and deliver to our customer and the business. Now is the time for us to come together and talk about the early stages of this journey and commit to leading the company and our technical organization on this journey.

Initiatives and Practice - Tuning
From 58.2s, get Fcc_Fan_Request 42% from 30%, fan speed increases from 500rpm to request speed 700rpm at 60.2s. The response time is about 2s. Fan speed vibration is about +/-25rpm at steady state. When fan request changes, actual fan speed responses quickly, about 2s Fan speed vibration is about +/-25rpm.

Initiatives and Practice - Tuning
Drivability - Truck Support OEM to improve the drivability on truck application. The same calibration setting could be shared on one engine platform. This is not a engine issue, mainly due to The stiffness of the driveline is soft Higher requirement of drivability from customer Drivability – Passenger Car Support Global EBU Control team to tune the drivability on the VAN vehicle (ISF2.8 Volga).
