Justin Clark Automation Engineer / GlaxoSmithKline Justin Clark – Automation Engineer, GlaxoSmithKline Justin Clark has been with GlaxoSmithKline for three years as an Automation Engineer in the Automation department in Zebulon, NC.  He is the site owner for OEE performance data, of which Ignition is used as the primary tool for visualizing production data.  He holds Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Electrical Engineering from Oklahoma State University and a Master’s of Integrated Manufacturing Systems Engineering from North Carolina State University. Charles Cowan Head of Technical Services / Yuma County Water Users’ Association Charles Cowan – Head of Technical Services, Yuma County Water Users’ Association Charles Cowan has been in the industrial automation industry for 20 years, with a shift in emphasis from food manufacturing to irrigation canal automation and the power generation, transmission, and distribution sectors for the past 13 years. Charles serves as the Head of Technical Services for the Yuma County Water Users’ Association, a 113-year-old association developed to manage and operate federally owned irrigation and power facilities. Among his many and varied responsibilities at the association, Charles manages the Association’s technology program, which includes IT, SCADA, GIS, and emerging field technologies. Charles; could you tell us a little more about yourself and what you do?

Chris Hemric Director of Technical Services / R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company Chris Hemric - Director of Technical Services, R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company During his 33 year career with R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company, Chris has held positions at many levels of the organization, including Maintenance Technician, Process Control Engineer, Controls and Automation Engineer, and Engineering Management. He currently serves as Director of Technical Services, encompassing a broad range of engineering activities including mechanical and electrical design, controls engineering, facilities management and utilities delivery for the manufacturing operations. He holds an AAS Electronics Engineering Technology from Forsyth Technical Community College, a BS in Industrial Systems and Technology Management from East Carolina University. Chris is a licensed Professional Engineer in North Carolina. Chris; could you tell us a little more about yourself and what you do?

Dan Stauft Corporate Engineering / SugarCreek Dan Stauft – Corporate Engineering, SugarCreek Dan is a Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional with a BS in Mechanical Engineering and an MS in Manufacturing Operations. Dan brings with him over 24 years of experience in advanced manufacturing and control systems.  For the past three years, he has been implementing Ignition across six food manufacturing sites; currently 79 devices and 9 SQL databases are connected.  Prior to joining SugarCreek, Dan spend 21 years improving processes in the automotive industry utilizing Cimplicity, Wonderware and various home brewed platforms. Dan; could you tell us a little more about yourself and what you do?
