Purpose Educate Industry on a broad range of warfighter operational needs and requirements Allow Industry to interface with Service/Agency subject matter experts Address desired capability questions with regard to unique customer specifications Inspire Industry to develop next generation Non-Lethal Weapons 2

DoD NLW Definition Weapons that are explicitly designed and primarily employed so as to incapacitate personnel or material, while minimizing fatalities, permanent injury to personnel, and undesired damage to property and the environment. Note: Non-Lethal Weapons shall not be required to have zero probability of producing fatalities or permanent injuries. DODD Policy for NLWs 9 Jul 1996
