Attend 3 general meetings per quarter
If you have class during HIH meetings, speak to one of the officers.
Attend 1 fundraiser per quarter
If fundraisers are restaurant fundraisers, must bring receipt to an officer.
Attend 2 events per quarter (1 social and 1 professional).
*Note that you do not have to be an active member, but there are benefits as an active member!!

Renewing of a textbook can only occur if no other members are on the waitlist for the book

HIH has partnered with TPR from Dec 2016-August 2017 (8 months)
TPR will provide HIH with higher education resources + workshops
For eligible/active HIH members, you can receive: (valid on any in-person classroom, LiveOnline, Self-Paced or small group instruction)
$250 discount on the price of any classroom preparation course for the MCAT
$100 discount on the price of any classroom preparation course for LSAT, GMAT, GRE, DAT, and OAT
1 free classroom course sponsorship after 5 member enrollments in any test preparation program. [every 5 member enrollment=1 free classroom course]

Dr. Pestana attended medical school at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She went on to complete her residency in internal medicine at The Mayo Clinic in Minnesota.
