National association for gifted Children
The first place to look for information. NAGC is an organization of parents, teachers, educators, other professionals, and community leaders who unite to address the unique needs of children and youth with demonstrated gifts and talents as well as those children who may be able to develop their talent potential with appropriate educational experiences.

Georgia Association for Gifted Children
State organization which holds an annual conference as well as other workshops and webinars. Their resource page has a number of great links:

People often forget about this site and it has a lot of current information.

Hoagies Gifted Education Page
This site offers a general, introductory resource for families of gifted children and adolescents.

Davidson institute Non-profit, national foundation that offers resources to profoundly gifted young people from the ages 4-18 and their parents.

Supporting emotional Needs of the Gifted (SENG)
is dedicated to promoting understanding about the affective side of giftedness. Their website is filled with thoughtful resources for parents of gifted children, teachers, mental health professionals, and gifted adults.

Jack Kent Cooke Foundation
A private, independent foundation established in 2000, to help young people of exceptional promise reach their full potential through education. The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation’s scholarships are designed to encourage and support outstanding students from 7th grade through graduate school who have a breadth of interests, work hard, demonstrate a strong will to succeed, and have financial need.

The National Research Center on the Gifted and Talented (NRCGT) is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education to investigate, develop, and disseminate new methods for identifying and teaching gifted students. Special emphasis is placed on research that serves highly able students from culturally, linguistically, and ethnically diverse populations
