3 MISSION STATEMENT The JTGA will have many successful and FUN filled weekly Golf outings. The Junior TEAM Golf Association is to provide junior golfers who have displayed an advanced level of golfing skills an opportunity to compete in team competitions. Although the JTGA fosters competition, the JTGA is designed to encourage fellowship, good sportsmanship, and continued skill development, honesty, integrity and golf etiquette.

5 JTGA Dress Code JTGA Club Rules & Dress Code
There are club rules and dress codes for all JTGA golfers. These rules are important. Each JTGA Junior Golf participant should know and adhere to the following. HOST GOLF COURSE and DRESS CODE The rules for the clubhouse, golf course, practice range and putting green are: Soft spikes or tennis shoes. Traditional steel spikes in golf shoes are prohibited. Inappropriate dress includes, but is not limited to, tank tops, halter tops, tube tops, cut off shorts, cargo pants /cargo shorts, athletic shorts (jogging, soccer, etc...) sweat suits, gym/swim trunks, T-shirts or blue denim jeans. Hats & visors worn with bill forward. The JTGA requires wearing belts collared golf shirts with shirt tails tucked in. 17 2009 JTGA 9 Hole Format - Boys & Girls Check In
Dress Code ... Repair Divots ... Ball Marker ... Scorecards ... Pencils ... Sharpie 2 stroke penalty if a player does not carry a divot repair tool. Format: 9 Hole Shotgun 4 Players per team Players play from the ladies tee box; boys age 13 they play from the white tees, sometimes called the members tee. Stroke play … Play will be governed by the Rules of golf as approved by the USGA. Team Scoring: Total of 3 low scores per team All participating Clubs host at least one event.  Medalists (including ties) qualify MO-KAN Tournament of Champions. A walker/official scorekeeper is assigned to each foursome. No Spectators Players names placed on cart ... Players are driven to tee box. Thank the Host ProShop / Club

Players must have approval of Golf Professional or Event Coordinator. Dress Code Team Uniforms are suggested: Logo Golf Shirt Junior golfers carry their own clubs. Play by USGA Rules.

29 PARENT COMMITMENT JUNIOR GOLF PARENT COMMITMENT
(For all 9 hole JTGA parents) I understand that among my responsibilities as a parent of an JTGA Junior Golfer, if assigned by my Golf Course; I am to take an active part in being a walker (or providing an adult substitute / walker acceptable to host club) on event days. If I commit as a walker/representative for my Home Club and did not show on the designated date as a walker (or provide an adult substitute / walker acceptable to the host club) will mean my child cannot participate in future JTGA activities. IMPORTANT - Golf Carts will be driven by the walker / adult designated for each group.

All players MUST walk and carry their own clubs.  Proper golf attire is ABSOLUTELY REQUIRED. Shirts MUST have a collar and be tucked in. Hats, if worn, MUST have bill forward. If you do not meet the dress code you will NOT be permitted to play. NO BLUE JEANS!  NO CARGO PANTS or CARGO SHORTS! The Host clubs DRESS CODE will be honored. NO SPECTATORS … NO CELL PHONES
