Adulthood crisis examples
Erik Erikson defined three stages of adult crisis as intimacy, generativity, and integrity vs. despair: Intimacy versus isolation occurs around the age of 20, and continues into a person's 30's and beyond. During this time in life, people face the crisis of being alone versus being involved in meaningful relationships. Generativity versus stagnation occurs around the age of and lasts into a person's mid to late 50's. During this time, people think about the contribution they are making to the world. Integrity versus despair occurs around the age of 50 and continues until the end of a person's life. During this time, people reflect back on the life they have lived, and they decide if their life was meaningful or not.

Adulthood Crisis example Prevention/intervention
According to Erik Erickson adults go through three stage of crisis: intimacy vs. isolation, generativity vs. stagnation, and integrity vs. despair. Intimacy vs. isolation can be prevented and intervene by developing social relationships with friends, family, and people in the workplace/community. Generativity vs. stagnation may be hard to prevent depending on what the adult wishes to accomplish in his or her life. However having a optimistic view on life can help intervene. Integrity vs. despair just like stated above may not always be preventable. However having people you love and optimistic view on life can help intervene.

Biblical perspective Religion and spirituality are important to how we view prevention, intervention, and treatment. Through the word of God we learn how to have a perspective such crisis, disasters, traumatic. Disaster can not be prevented. However, we go the church to find inspiration and healing in our times of need. This helps us as Christians to intervene and treat any crisis, disaster, or trauma we encounter.
