Registration of Arcot Soft Token in Client Connection

I. Switch Internet Explorer to “Compatibility Mode”
Before logging into Client connection, the Internet Explorer browser has to be switched to compatibility mode to enable Internet Explorer 9 and 10 run as Internal Explorer 7. Please follow the steps below: Click on tools icon Click the developer tools option Select the Internet Explorer 9 Compatibility View Click the x at the far right of the screen to close the above window

Registration in Arcot Once you are logged in client connection, go to the eSignatories tab (located under the eForms tab) and click on the ‘Arcot Pending’ link found under the Authentication Method column (on the right). Enter your client connection sign in user id and click ‘submit’. A message appears alerting you that an activation code has been sent to your account. Go to your account and retrieve the activation code. In your client connection account, resume the Arcot registration process by clicking on the Arcot pending link once again. Enter your client connection sign in user id and the activation code and click on ‘submit’. Choose 4 security questions and type in the answers (make them easy to remember). You also have the option to enter your own questions. Then click ‘Next’. Enter a personal message. A Personal Message can be any free text message that is meaningful to you. The message should be a minimum of 10 characters but cannot include special characters such as >, <, “, %,(, ), +, ?. On the same page, click next to ‘please select your Personal Assurance Image’ and browse through the pop-up screen to select a Personal Assurance Image of choice. Once selected, click on the “Next” button. The last step of the registration process is creating a password. The password needs to be created using the virtual key board and must meet the following criteria: Between characters in length Have at least one numerical character Have at least one lower case letter Have at least one upper case letter Have at least one special character Should be entered a second time for confirmation

Click on the mouse so that the virtual key board appears on the screen. Using the mouse, click the letters on the “virtual key board” to create the password. When the newly created Password correctly meets the criteria stated on the left side under “Your password must”, the text color changes to GREEN. Confirm the password by entering it again and click on the “Submit” button. A confirmation message “You have successfully completed the Enrollment process” appears on the screen. User may choose to continue by clicking on the “Continue” button which takes you back to the eSignatories page. III. Things to Remember The user id for Arcot is the same as the client connection log in user id. The answers to the security questions and the Arcot signing password must be memorized by the signer. They are not to be shared with others. It could take up to 30 minutes after registration for the status to change from “Arcot Pending” to “Arcot Registered” and receive the automated confirming the user registration. Existing RSA SecurID users – Request to enable Soft Token: If you are currently using the RSA SecurID (physical token) and want to switch to Soft token use please send a request to to enable the Soft token.
