5 What Makes a Productive Team?
As you work together to complete the following activity, reflect upon the characteristics of a cohesive team.

6 Directions You were given a number between 1 and 6 when you registered. Divide into teams of 6 comprised of the numbers 1,2,3,4,5,and 6. You will find an envelope for each team member at your table. You will also find a piece of graph paper for each member. Each member will open the envelope and take out the picture. Using the graph paper provided, increase your picture by a scale factor of two.

In your group, identify trends and brainstorm ideas using the guiding questions in the Data Protocol. Assign a scribe to record your observations and ideas on chart paper. Be prepared in 15 minutes to present your group’s product.

What trends or patterns do the data indicate? What strengths/weaknesses do you see? What implications does this have for — Rigor of instruction? Content of instruction? Context of instruction? What are the implications for your instructional practices? What can you do differently? How will you differentiate?
