Music has the ability to drive the mood of a presentation. The music you incorporate could make the audience feel uplifted, anxious, sorrowful, or even make them feel powerful and energetic.
Although music is not a necessary component in your presentation adding a 10 sec. sound bite may captivate your audience of push them to feel more empathetic to your argument.

3. Reflection
We are going to listen to an 8 minute score compilation from movies. When you see the title of the movie write it down. Write 1-2 sentences explaining how you feel as you listen to the music.
Although scores do not have lyrics they often develop a powerful force relying on the different instruments to create emotion.

4. Lyrics that match
Singer songwriters often develop lyrics that share a message. If you can pinpoint a song that is connected to your central message it might be a driving force if used as a sound bite.

6. What next
Your group has created a project proposal that has a driving question – what improvements need to be made at RRHS to improve the quality of education.
Now you need to start thinking about your presentation – a 3 minute presentation with a visual component that is meant to persuade the audience to make a specific change to improve the quality of education at RRHS.

7. Presentation components
Your presentation should at minimum
-Explain what needs to be improved at RRHS to enhance the quality of education (Your research question).
-How will these changes be implemented (who do you need to interview to find out what steps can be taken to make this improvement)
-Research – what schools have this in place? Has it been successful? Why or why not? How will you make changes to ensure that your suggestions can be successfully implemented?
PRESENTATIONS ARE THE 20TH! The script and visual component must be completed by this date.
