2 Erosion is the movement of sediment by wind, ice, water, or gravity.
What is Erosion? Erosion is the movement of sediment by wind, ice, water, or gravity.

3 What is Deposition? The process by which sediment drops out of the wind, water, ice, or gravity (w,w,i,g) that carried it and settles in a new location.

4 Gravity Sediment falls

5 Gravity Erosion Angle of Repose is the steepest angle, or slope, at which a material will not slide down. If the slope is weathered, material erodes downward due to gravity.
