2 1.Demo by the Counsellor :
It is intended that before a counsellor is appointed at any chapter or region a small demo from prospective counsellor may be given to the exiting batch of students present at the premises or the chapter official to gauge the presentation and convincing skill of the individual. 2. Training for the Counsellor: Training program may be conducted for all counsellors after their appointment so as to guide them about a standard way of conduct and familiarise them with major questions being addressed by prospective students.

3 3. Surprise Visit to Schools and Colleges:
Surprise visit can be made to few Colleges/Schools to check the authenticity whether the program is being organised as committed and also the effectiveness of the program, as the chapter official is aware about the date when a particular counsellor is conducting career awareness program in schools and colleges. 4. Sharing of Photographs immediately after the program through any means : Counsellors may be asked to share few photographs and authority letter of school within 1 hour after the conduct of CAP.

4 5. Surprise calls to schools:
The Official may make surprise calls to the school/ college authorities/ students and verify the timely conduct of the program at their premises. 6. Limit on Number of Career Awareness Programs in a Day : Chapter officials usually get request to allow numerous programs in a day by counsellors, which does not seem feasible both in terms of conduct and delivery, therefore, the chapters officials may put a limit on number of CAP’s allowed in a day to maximum 3.

5 7. Student Feedback after the program:
The list of students provided by the counsellor may be contacted after the program to check whether the program was conducted or not and whether their doubts were addressed in the desired manner or not. 8. Proof of actual journey/expenses to be submitted at the time of reimbursement : Counsellors should submit all possible original proof of journey while submitting their claims this would help to ascertain the average cost being incurred by a counsellor in a particular region and also check authenticity of the travel done for the program . 9. Quarterly Reports for Monitoring of the Programs: A quarterly MIS may be sought from the counsellor and maintained by the chapter/region to keep a record of the programs being conducted.

6 10. Data regarding performance of Counsellors and be sought and analyzed based on the registrations : Data of registration done by the counsellors may be sought from HQ and their actual performance may be analysed. 11. Recording of local achievers can be shown during Career Counselling for reliability and easy connect with the students The chapter staff can get in touch with the local achievers in their vicinity and request for video bytes which can be played at local level during career awareness programs being conducted at schools and colleges.

7 Suggestions : A standardised video to be developed regarding the CS achievers showcasing our members holding important positions in various organisations/firms showcasing role models. This can be further converted into regional and vernacular languages for easy connect. Performa maybe modified to incorporate the column of Date, Time, Venue to manage the surprise visits and calls. Existing guidelines maybe clarified w.r.t demarcation of district and city in relation to conduct of career awareness program. Concept of probation period for counsellors may be introduced.
