Now, go back to one or two of the slides that have the words with the pictures and ask students to make up a story or tell information about one or more of the items on the slide. For your P-K children, this will be totally oral unless you have a child like Ava who has entered school with some developed verbal skills. K and Grade 1 students will be able to draw a picture and write a few sentences about that picture (story or information). Grade 2 students will be able to expand on the project by researching information about their particular choice before writing.
