2 Rapid Deployment – Pop Up Network
Rapid deployment connectivity leverages readily-available 4G LTE networks to deliver superfast, reliable and instant connectivity to temporary locations. Perfect for Construction Sites Festivals & Events Pop Up Restaurants Pop Up Shops More and more enterprises today are moving to centralised and cloud-based business applications – meaning that the need to access fast, reliable and secure connectivity is a number one priority for IT teams when establishing a new location. Getting connected from day one Most enterprises use fixed lines as their primary form of connectivity, so when they establish a new branch location – for example, a new retail store – they will naturally plan fixed line infrastructure in to the development. Yet in most cases, even when pre-ordered months in advance, new sites can be left waiting for their fixed line connection due to long lead times on installation. In many cases organisations can also overlook pre-ordering and only request an install mere weeks before the location needs to go live, putting the site under instant pressure as the necessary infrastructure simply cannot be put in place this quickly. Time is money Delays in getting connected means that new locations cannot operate at full capacity; cut off from their core network, construction sites cannot access and update essential information such as CAD drawings, retail and restaurant sites cannot process transactions, and so on. It all means inefficient operations, and huge costs to the business as a result. Enter LTE: Rapidly deployed, reliable, secure and fast By implementing a mobile networking solution new locations can get connected from day one. LTE can provide a powerful, rapidly deployed connectivity solution for temporary connectivity in any situation – enabling locations to work at maximum capacity regardless of fixed line delays. Delivering connectivity to some locations can be challenging as they may be too remote for fixed line, or if it’s only temporary then the investment may be too high. In other cases there may be connectivity available at the location, but it’s not secure enough to run certain transactions, such as PoS, over. There are also cases where fixed line can and will be delivered to site, but the lead time is too long and connectivity is needed from day one. In all of these situations, 4G LTE pop-up networking can provide the solution.

3 Rapid Deployment – Construction
4G LTE networking solutions for construction enables new sites to get online while they await fixed line installation, so they can operate as normal from day one. Application: Rapid deployment for a day one connectivity on new project builds, connecting remote sites to centralised, head office systems. Once a fixed line is installed, the 4G LTE solution can convert to failover – extending the lifetime benefits and return on investment. LTE connectivity can also provide primary connectivity to construction sites on an on-going basis, as in some remote locations it can offer faster speeds than fixed line. Benefits to end user: Deploy in days not months Simple installation for plug and play connectivity Supports all on-site applications, including secure guest WiFi Keeps developers up-to-date with the latest drawings Enterprise-grade security Various hardware options available to suit site needs / budget Extend to first-in home owners while they await fixed line installation Instant connectivity for construction sites Zest4 provide ruggedised mobile networking solutions which can withstand the tough environment of a construction site to deliver fast, secure connectivity from the very start of the project build. Portable in its nature it also enables the site to move their cabins to the optimal position as the site develops – something limited by a fixed line. Pop-up connectivity for temporary locations As well as providing a rapid solution for sites where fixed line installation is delayed, a 3G/4G connection can also provide pop-up connectivity for temporary locations where it isn’t readily available. Be this a pop-up restaurant or shop, exhibition stand or outdoor event, a mobile networking solution can instantly deliver fast, secure and reliable connectivity to any location – then be easily moved to a new location as and when it’s required.

4 Rapid Deployment – Retail
4G LTE networking solutions for retail include rapid deployment connectivity to get stores online while they await fixed line installation, and pop-up connectivity for temporary locations. Application: Rapid deployment connectivity for a day one connection in new stores (avoiding the delays associated with fixed line), and getting business-critical applications online so that the doors can open on time. In addition, the same rapid deployment solution can also provide pop-up connectivity for temporary store locations, for example pop-up shops at events. Benefits to end user: Deploy in days not months Saves the retailer £1000’s in lost sales, and brand reputation, if opening is postponed due to fixed line installation delays Simple installation for plug and play connectivity Supports all business applications, including Point of Sale Enterprise-grade security and PCI compliant Can convert to failover in fixed locations, or simply be moved to another location for temporary connectivity While cellular can provide a best fit solution for in-vehicle networking requirements, if selected and implemented incorrectly it can provide a substandard application or user experience – becoming a costly mistake for companies and resulting in: * Financial outlays that don’t deliver a return on investment * Brand damage due to customer and employee dissatisfaction Delays in implementing the correct solution Consumer-Grade Devices While some organisations may be tempted to implement cheaper, consumer-grade devices to deliver their on-the-road connectivity – such as USB Modems and Personal Wi-Fi Hotspots – these come with several inherent issues. They typically lack network edge features and functionality, meaning businesses have to significantly compromise on their security and corporate policies. They also aren’t built for vehicular environments so tend to damage and break very easily, leading to increased long term costs for replacement hardware. Consumer options also aren’t managed; central IT teams cannot troubleshoot or support the hardware while it’s in the field, and the vehicle would have to return to depot before any connectivity issues could be resolved. Internal Modems Many leading tablet and laptop manufacturers today build internal modems into their computing solutions, and while this can be very effective for connecting the device to the Internet, it too has its limitations. Internal modems have small, internal antennas and therefore they cannot achieve a high quality signal on an on-going basis. This can lead to limited or slow connectivity, which affects field team productivity and customer service. Additionally, internal modems can only connect the device they are installed in and cannot be used for any other in-vehicle connected applications. Cutting the wire permanently The development of product solutions that benefit from multiple cellular connections, combined with the evolution of LTE, means that 3G/4G networking is now a true alternative to fixed line. Because of the ability to use multiple operators in a single device solution, resilience is inherent – allowing organisations to “cut the wire” permanently and use cellular for their primary connectivity.

5 Commercials – How we set ourselves apart
Short Term Solutions – Monthly Contract Flexible Connectivity – No fixed monthly limit Long Term Solution – Two or Three Year Contract – Better pricing from networks Aggregated Data – Pool of data shared across multiple connections. Local SIM for high data or Roaming SIM for low data or high value No minimum order of sims. 1 sim with 10Gb of data can still be an M2M deal. There is often a perception from partners that you have to order hundreds of sims Full portfolio of Hardware solutions to meet all requirements Full access to a management portal to allow total control of the sim estate
