4 The Power of Facebook At 2.07 billion, Facebook has more monthly active users than WhatsApp (1.3 billion), Twitter (330 million) and Instagram (800 million) There are now 65 million local business pages on Facebook 4 million 'likes' are generated hourly 1.37 billion people log into Facebook daily 4.75bn pieces of content are shared daily 83% of parents on Facebook are friends with their children Facebook adds 500,000 new users every day; 6 new profiles every second More than 250 billion photos have been uploaded to Facebook. This equates to 350 million photos per day Average time spent on Facebook is 20 minutes
