8 Exceptional Load Capacity
The load capacity for a conventional bias tire for any given dimension depends on its ply rating. Load Capacity Radial tires can support a higher load capacity than bias tires with the same dimensions. +2.65 metric tons MICHELIN Maximum load per tire (Metric ton = 1.1 tons) Example: 23.5 R25 Michelin Radials can transport up to 5 metric tons (5.5 tons) more per machine if the load is within manufacturers guidelines

A tire’s traction capability is incredibly important as it directly impacts the load capacity The greater the traction, the more efficient the loader A radial tire’s footprint and Michelin’s unique tread design for loaders limit the tire’s slippage during loading, and increases its overall traction. 13 A Comfortable Ride The flexibility of a radial tire’s sidewalls significantly increases the driving comfort of the machines. Michelin’s innovative tread design allows for even greater comfort. 14 Stronger Puncture Resistance
Steel Radial casing plies and metal reinforcing belts offer greater resistance to tire damage and punctures in the tread and sidewall than fabric ply bias tires. The higher pressure required for bias tires make them less flexible to absorb impacts meaning they puncture more readily. 23.5 – 25 BIAS Air from the punctured tire stirs up dust. Punctured device.
