The product from version 6.0 needs to be installed (or started) on a SharePoint 2016, SharePoint 2013 or SharePoint Server Software requirements: For SharePoint 2016: Windows 2012 R2 or Windows Server 2016 For SharePoint 2013: Windows 2012 or Windows 2008 R2 For SharePoint 2010: Windows 2012, Windows 2008 or Windows 2008 R2 On Windows 2008 you will need to download Windows PowerShell Snap-In 1.0 to fully extract information about IIS Settings SQL 2008 or better is supported Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 for SharePoint 2010, Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 for SharePoint 2013 and SharePoint 2016. *SharePoint 2007 is no longer supported edition starting with SPDockit 6.

System Requirements Running on a workstation
The application can be installed on a workstation with Windows 8 or Windows 7 operating system, but you will not be able to load new SharePoint farm settings, but only connect to an existing SPDocKit database and open already saved farm settings. From the version 5.2., SPDocKit installed on a workstation also supports connecting to any SharePoint 2010, SharePoint 2013, SharePoint 2016 or SharePoint Online site and real- time viewing and management of permissions.

Workstation license More info and how it works If you have multiple farms that you want to monitor, do it without having to use a remote connection to check out SPDocKit reports – connect directly to the SPDocKit database from your PC workstation. You can have multiple farms connected to one SPDocKit SQL database, which you can monitor from your PC workstation. Connect to a SharePoint Online site, and modify user permissions using SPDocKit permissions wizards.
