Frequently Asked Questions-pg 1
Q: What kind of grades do I need to be competitive? A: To be competitive you need to have as strong of a GPA as possible on the prerequisites. The application points determine if you are invited to the interview. The interview points plus application points determine if you are admitted to the program – points can vary each year. We suggest you apply if you are eligible. Q: Should I repeat if I get a B grade? A: The choice is always your decision, but we want to let you know that an ‘A’ and ‘B’ in BI is the same amount of points. Also – we take the most recent grade of a repeated class (B, C, C-, D, F, and NP). Repeating courses can affect your financial aid as well. Q: I am having trouble doing the online application – where can I go for help? A: Please read over Section 1 in Moodle for information and attend an On-Going/Transfer workshop with Jessica.
