Sara has 16 red flowers and 24 yellow flowers. She wants to make bouquets with the same number of each color flower in each bouquet. What is the greatest number of bouquets she can make?

Make a T-chart, on one side label: What I’m doing?, and on the other What am I thinking?
As you work the problem under the What am I doing? side, make sure you record important information, and on the What was I thinking? side record what was going on in your head.
When the timer rings, find the partners that have your same problem, discuss your thoughts and compare your answers.
Go back to your seat, pass your problem back, the last person pass theirs to the front.
