2. What?
A Works Cited page is a listing of all the sources that you used in composing a written piece of work

3. Why? To give credit to the author of your research
To allow your reader to look up further details about your research

4. When? Every time you use research to help support a piece of writing.
A Works Cited document only lists the sources that you actually used in your paper.

5. How? Alphabetize your sources Type your sources in the form of a list
Use a hanging indent for each source

6. Hanging Indent
A hanging indent is when the second line of a source is indented. Look at the example below:
Georges, Henry. How to Fix a Motorcycle. New York: Princeton Publishing Co,

7. Type the words Works Cited, centered at the top of the page
Type the words Works Cited, centered at the top of the page. Remember to capitalize W and C.
Remember to alphabetize each source
