International Equipment Reliability Working Group AP-913 Harmonisation sub-group Update from Suzhou meeting 12th-13th Sep 2017
2
Objective “Produce a harmonised (WANO) Equipment Reliability standard to be used globally*” *INPO AP-913 remains in place alongside the new WANO document
3
Achievements so far Survey of IERWG members re: what changes would we like in our WANO standard versus AP-913. Key themes are: Simpler and shorter than AP-913 More generic e.g. remove Maintenance Rule/MPSI. Include roles & responsibilities of each function and the interactions. Document produced during 2016/17 (reviewed at Budapest, Helsinki, Prague and Suzhou meetings) – input from 12 member states (UK, Spain, China, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Finland, Bulgaria, Sweden, France, UAE, Korea and Mexico), WANO London, WANO Tokyo and EPRI. Document aligned with new Equipment Classification standard. Document Draft 3 sent to all I-ERWG members requesting final issue. Final comments on Draft 3 addressed and agreed, therefore document (draft 4) is ready for issue as Rev 1.
