“Pipeline construction runs into anti-fossil fuel movement” - Houston Chronicle headline, May 19 proposed gas transmission lines out of the Marcellus and Utica shale alone Would carry 15.2 bcf/d gas, enabling 116 trillion cft gas production by 2050 Projected gas increase would make it impossible for US to meet our climate goals Significant methane leakage, damage to our climate More fracking, water pollution, local impacts As of May 16, 2016 271 Units and 147 Plants in Remaining (includes Edwardsport IGCC) SOURCE: Oil Change International

Request approval for your chapter to formally intervene against the project Submit comments to Federal Energy Regulatory Commission Attend a public hearing held by FERC Request a meeting with your Representative and Senator to ask them to oppose gas and your specific pipeline Work with Dirty Fuels team to demand reforms at FERC
