The main foundation and basic function of our family is love. As a family unit we love each other and act with love. We make decision and choices based on our love for our family members.

In our family, volunteering and help others out is important. We try to volunteer and offer our time and money to those that need our help. We believe that anyone can volunteer and offer their time.

4. The fire service is a big part of our life
The fire service is a big part of our life. Much of our time is spent at the fire department, conferences, meetings, and classes.

5. Reading is a past time that all members of my family engage in and enjoy. We make sure to read different genres and include nonfiction text to help us learn about others. We read for enjoyment and for knowledge. We have discussions about what we read and try to relate our text to our life.

6. My family loves to go on vacations
My family loves to go on vacations. We think it is important to vacation all over and see new places.
We enjoy trying new activities and foods when we are on vacation. Of course, we also love to relax!!
