Review the title of the editorial and lines 1-8, then explain how you know what the writer’s claim is. Review lines 9-16 and identify reasons that back up the claim that wild animals aren’t pets. Trace the argument by identifying and explaining an example used as support. Read pg. 226 “Trace and Evaluate an Argument” to understand how to answer the question.
