God is sovereign over all rulers, nations, and lives
God will use rulers and anyone else He desires to further His will
God’s people have a responsibility to pray for and submit to authority
We must guard against idols in our life - 1 John 5:21

Help us to learn to rest in Your sovereignty
Thank You Father for Your Word to lead, guide and instruct us
Thank You for Your great love, mercy, and grace
Help us to keep You first in our daily lives by walking in obedience to Your Word
