Dichotomous Keys Dichotomous Keys: allow people to identify different species. They are created by scientists to allow other people to identify species.

Dichotomous Keys Dichotomous: Di = 2 chotomous = splitting Dichotomous keys always give you 2 choices at each step.

Dichotomous Keys Rules: ALWAYS start at number 1 on a dichotomous key.
